Timeline
Our story began in Surabaya as CV. Sumber Djaja, founded by the Tanudjaja brothers with a vision to build an innovative plastic manufacturing company. Starting from a modest workshop, we laid the foundation for decades of continuous growth.
To meet increasing market demand, we expanded our operations to a larger manufacturing facility in Sidoarjo, upgraded our production technology, and officially became PT. Sumber Djaja Perkasa.
As industries evolved, so did we. Our product range grew beyond PVC hoses to include drinking straws, strapping bands, PP ropes, PVC doors, corrugated roofing sheets, and many other innovative plastic products.
We became the first company in Indonesia to adopt Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) technology, introducing the Duma® brand to deliver durable, sustainable, and wood-like building materials for modern construction.
Our manufacturing operations moved to a modern 13-hectare production complex in Wonoayu, Sidoarjo, equipped with advanced manufacturing technology to support larger production capacity and future innovation.
We introduced our innovative double-wall uPVC roofing system, which later evolved into Rooftop®, a trusted brand recognized across Indonesia and Southeast Asia for its durability and thermal performance.
With the addition of ACP manufacturing technology, we became one of Indonesia's pioneering manufacturers of Aluminum Composite Panels, supporting modern architectural and construction projects.
Our commitment to continuous improvement was recognized through ISO 9001 certification, later upgraded to ISO 9001:2015, ensuring consistent manufacturing processes and reliable product quality.
We expanded our portfolio once again with the launch of Jago®, strengthening our presence in Indonesia and Southeast Asia's PE rope industry.
